Rachel Brosnahanand her husbandJason Ralphhave been married longer than fans realized.
News thatThe Marvelous Mrs. Maiselstar, 28, and theMagiciansactor, 32, were marriedfirst surfacedin September 2018 after they were spotted wearing bands on their left ring fingers at theEmmy Awards.
At theSAG Awardson Sunday, Brosnahan said that she and Ralph have actually “been married for years,” but clarified her choice to avoid discussing her marriage publicly in the following statement:
“I’ve been quite private about my personal life for a few reasons. The first being that it’s just that…personal,” she said. “Jason and I also noticed early on that, while we are both the leads of successful television series, he has almost never been asked about our relationship while I have been asked on almost every red carpet I have walked in the last 2 years. We both find this double standard problematic and frustrating and opted to redirect those conversations to our work.”

In her speech, Brosnahan expressed her disbelief to be accepting the prestigious award and went on to honor the people who helped bring the Amazon show to life.
“I’ve wanted to be an actor for as long as I can remember, and to be able to count all of you in the room as my peers, and let alone stand on this stage is beyond my wildest dreams,” the actress began.
“Our too often unsung background actors who work the same hours as us and share the same union as us,” she said. “I couldn’t be luckier to be a part of this amazing group of artists.”

Brosnahan thankedThe Magiciansactor whenshe took home the Golden Globe awardfor her portrayal in the popular Amazon show earlier this month.
“Jason, I love you. I wouldn’t be here at all without you. Thank you,” she said.
