Usheris taking his show on the road!
The “Love in this Club” singer, 45, announced he will be embarking on a North American tour this year following his performance at theSuper BowlLVIIIhalftime showand the end of his Las Vegas residency.
The Live Nation tour, dubbed the USHER: Past Present Future tour, will feature music from throughout his 30-year career, including hits from his first album, 1994’sUsher, to new singles from his ninth studio albumComing Home, which is set for release on Feb. 9, ahead of the Super Bowl.
“Usher is bringing his smooth R&B tracks, infectious smile and slick moves to fans all across the globe,” read a press release for the tour.

The tour is slated to start on Aug. 20 at the Capital One Arena in Washington D.C. before heading to cities like Brooklyn, Los Angeles, Atlanta and Toronto, Canada. The tour will wrap at Chicago’s United Center on Oct. 29 after 24 dates.
Fans who are Citi card members or Verizon customers will have a chance to snag tickets for U.S. dates beginning on Wednesday, Feb. 7 at 10 a.m. local time until Sunday, Feb. 11 at 10 p.m. through either the Citi Entertainment program orVerizonwebsite. The general sale will begin Monday, Feb. 12 at 10 a.m. local time atLiveNation.com.
The tour will also offer VIP packages, which can include “Meet & Greet” and photo opportunities with Usher, access to a pre-show VIP Lounge, a specially designed VIP gift item and more.

The announcement comes as the “My Boo” performer prepares to headline the Super Bowl halftime show next week. In an interview withGood Morning America, Usher revealed that he is putting the spotlight on R&B for the much-anticipated performance and highlighting those who have inspired him.

“It’s an honor of a lifetime to finally check a Super Bowl performance off my bucket list," Ushersaid in a statement. “I can’t wait to bring the world a show unlike anything else they’ve seen from me before.”
The R&B star continued: “Thank you to the fans and everyone who made this opportunity happen. I’ll see you real soon.”
