On Sunday, the actress, 42, shared an Instagram tribute to her mom Cathy, whom she affectionately called “mamasita.” Herpostfeatured a series of photos of the duo and their family, including several sentimental throwbacks.“Happy Happy Birthday to my mamasita @cathyalba 💖🎉🎂🎊 I love you to the 🌙 [moon] and back — thank you for always supporting me, believing in me and pushing me to follow my dreams,” Jessica wrote.
“You keep it real 💯 and hold it down and I’m so grateful for you. Cheers to another trip around the ☀️!” she continued, adding the hashtag #LibraSeason.

The actress’s photo carousel kicked off with a snapshot of her and Cathy making heart shapes with their hands. Another showed her husbandCash Warrensurprising his mother-in-law with an elaborate birthday cake decorated with sparkler candles.
Among the throwback photos, Alba shared a photo of her mom doting on her daughter when she was a tiny infant, as well as a portrait of her family — including father Mark and brother Joshua — dressed up for a special event.

Last month, Alba took a similar walk down memory lane for her dad’s birthday. Ina postcelebrating her “papasito,” she shared an old portrait of her and Joshua when they were toddlers. The siblings could be seen wearing adorable sailor outfits as they posed with their parents.
In June, Alba and Warren, 44, enjoyed a night out together with Cathy and Mark, attending theTinamusical in Los Angeles. The Honest Company founder posteda photoof the group in the theater at the time, writing, “Thx mom and dad for taking us to see 👑 #tina.”
In January, her parents came along ona family trip to Disneylandto celebrate son Hayes' 5th birthday. Alba documented the fun with photos on Instagram, referring to her family — which also includes daughters Honor, 15, and Haven, 12 — as “the squad.”
