We just draw to feel up Samsung ’s latest tablet offer in the 12.2 - in beast of the Galaxy NotePRO . Here ’s what we thought .
For starters that cover really woos your eyeballs . It ’s crowing and beautiful . It ’s plenty bright , coloring really pop , and it ’s super sharp . Text looked outstanding , exposure looked great . The CRT screen : Great .
The cost of that cover sizing , though , is portability . It ’s about as light and thin as it could be , but there ’s not a cap pouch in the world it would agree into . Holding it one handed , was definitely a number of a task , and I ’d be afraid of carrying on a crowded subway for concern of dropping it .

We also got to try it with Logitech ’s keyboard case ( $ 130 ) , and while it ’s importantly deep than Microsoft Surface , it was an absolute joy to typewrite on . I mean it was almost indistinguishable from a good laptop computer keyboard . The keyboard include all the Android - specific shortcut buttons you could want , include dwelling house , menu , back , and multi - tasking . Using the keyboard to flip around the screens was extremely visceral .
As we dread , it seems that Samsung ’s MagazineUX slows things down a number . It ’s a very heavy tegument and it ’s pass away to take some processing power to keep all of those tasks going simultaneously . That say , it was still fast - ish . Apps pop open very quickly , and even divide the screen into four different apps worked very well . There ’s just not that pantry smoothness when you ’re scrolling around that you ’d go for for .
Overall , we were pretty impressed . This is by all odds a job - focalize tablet , though , and you ’ve got to really need that size . Pricing — which still has n’t been announced — will work a huge function in how bragging this thing start , but in a fruitcake - shell , at first coup d’oeil , we like it .
