I typically prefer to DM over PC , because pilot unlike characters and their needs feel like a puzzle I ’m always solving , one that go on growing and changing . But it ’s not always gentle , or fun . instrumentalist like to stir shit up sometimes , and you just have to range with it . Rick has another estimation : Do whatever the shtup you want . It ’s your game . Are you pissed that one of your PCs keeps showboating ? imprecate them to be understood for 10 minutes . Did you roll a vital fail for your goblin fighter ? Just lie and say it was expert . They ca n’t do shit . I ’m not tell both of those things hap with my game … but I ’m not saying they did n’t .
That might arrive across as an insult to the sanctity of the family relationship between player and DM , and in some ways it is . DMs are pressed with the importance of honoring the musician , the story , and the journeying .
