To download offline maps , just head to options—>System—>Offline Maps , or go to the options in the Maps app . ( Or just seek Offline Maps in thesystem - all-encompassing hunting . ) Maps lets you download by single region . The files are understandably big — 300 MB for New York State , for example .

There ’s no option to download to a particular folder , which is a shame — I ’d have like to have a exercise set of universe maps save to a USB , quick to deploy whenever my roadtrip move wide in a notspot . One weird quirk — map wo n’t download while the Maps app is open , which seems like a unknown decision .
The single-valued function itself is jolly good . I ’ve always like the way Here maps experience close to a paper map , and it for sure retains that feel on Windows 10 . possess the mansion numbers overlaid on buildings is nothing short of sorcerous .
