Last yr DC unveiled a new set of their ‘ Designer Series ’ plaything based onthe stunning artworkofJae Lee – and now we ’ve got an even better look at the final figures , as well as a release date .

The set of four figures are establish on Lee ’s work on Batman / Superman , and aside from the obvious Batman and Superman , we ’re also getting Lee ’s takes on Wonder Woman and Catwoman :
It ’s not changed since they were revealed , but what I love the most about figures that they are n’t just ‘ naturalistic ’ translation of Lee ’s designing into military action material body form , but directly seek to emulate his stylus – the paler color pallette , the point lines all over the suits to create wrinkling and domain of blending , they look grand . I particularly wish the stylistic shaping of Batman and Superman ’s cape – Supes specially . It really makes these physical body striking display pieces , and look like they ’re ripped straight from Lee ’s artistry .
Each figure will set you back $ 25 when they come out in August . Be still , my beating notecase .
