Adeleand her husband, Simon Konecki, have split after more than seven years together.
“Adele and her partner have separated,” the singer’s representatives Benny Tarantini and Carl Fysh said in a statement to theAssociated Press.
“They are committed to raising their son together lovingly. As always they ask for privacy. There will be no further comment.”
The 30-year-old singer (born Adele Adkins) and entrepreneur-philanthropist Konecki, 45, have long kept the details of their romance under wraps.
The small family has lived a quiet life, spending time between her native London and Beverly Hills, where theybought a homein 2016.

“The reason her relationship works with Simon is because they are on the same page,” a source told PEOPLE at the time. “Their priority is their son, and Adele loves being a mother. Angelo is a very happy little boy.”
In a Vanity Fair cover story in December 2016, Adele opened up about her bond with the “confident” and “perfect” Konecki for one of the first times, calling it “the most serious relationship I’ve ever been in.”

In January 2017, Adele sparked rumors she and Koneckihad marriedwhen she was photographed with a band on her left ring finger.

The singer went on tohint at their marriagethe following month at the Grammys as she accepted the album of the year award for her smash album25:“Grammys, I appreciate it, the Academy, I love you, my manager, my husband and my son — you’re the only reason I do it.”
Then she finallyconfirmed they had wedat a March 2017 concert in Brisbane, where she told the audience: “I’m married now.”
Since her last world tour wrapped in June 2017, Adele has largely remained out of the public eye.
In March 2019, the singer and pal Jennifer Lawrence werespotted partyingat the New York City gay bar Pieces. The same week, Adele was photographed outside an N.Y.C. recording studio sans her wedding ring. She also reportedly spent time with friendTaylor Swiftearlier this year.
