A movie needs its soundtrack . Especially when that picture is 8 Mile and the whole leading up to the motion picture is a rap music battle and the intact payoff is Eminem doing Eminem things . And yet this musicless version of an 8 land mile conniption almost plays well than the integral flick because of how utterly awkward it is . You just end up watching Marshall be a attempt hard goofball in front of a lav mirror . Which is to say , it ’s fantastic .
