It ’s unenviable to have seen it at all . And yet the two picture show layer on each other and morph into this big creepy sight that keeps you from feeling dependable in your house even though one of those movies clearly did n’t earn your care .
2 . The Blair Witch Project ( 1999 )
The Blair Witch Project is n’t really a bad movie . In fact it ’s so good that it paved the way for a lot of other film . After it came out , other movies allowed their monster mythology to be vague , instead of explain every item . Other pic used the ascertain footage technique to give people a sense of immediacy during the experience and realness after it . Other movies throw out the formula that read “ the girl lives , ” in favour of killing everyone and exit the audience alone with the monster at the terminal .

It ’s the ultimate moral collapse , and when we revere the same monster , we ’re apportion the valet ’s disgrace and personal devastation . That ’s scarier than anything obscure in the night .
