( As you may not get laid , the weather was horrifying these two last weeks in Switzerland . Today was the first mean solar day we could go outside without a crownwork 😀 ) . I went back , align to have a nice reflection of sundown in the Learning Center windows and scoot

-Donovan Koch

We had previously been out in the consortium together and I had earlier hang our washup suits outside to dry out . HTC Evo + Macro Lens
Camera(phone ): 8.0 MP , HTC EVO 4 G ( with a magnetically attached macro electron lens )
software package : None
setting : ostentate on

I recently got this $ 10 magnetically attachable macro lens from Dealextreme . I had very low expectation for it , but it transformed my sound . fortunately , during my first few tries with the lens of the eye , I saw a diminutive spider vane on my terrace . In it had a very little spider with a impertinently captured yield fly in his grasp . Apparently this was not a rarefied feed .
-Rich Ohnnmeiss
Camera Unspecified + Jelly Lens
I used a Jelly Lens – Polorizer Which I go for is n’t deliberate cheating . I have a handful of the Jelly lenses and tried a few different ace , this was certainly the best of the bunch . This picture was taken just before nightfall , it has a weird ethereal strangeness to it .
-Piers

The story . My gf and I were in South Beach in Miami for a beautiful dinner . She is a lensman and we walked over to the park at the south beach inlet . She took her television camera with her and as I was view her shoot the evening out , I find and wanted to capture her in her moment . Her pose may seem a turn unnatural because she is hold a camera up ( she had no melodic theme I was take this photograph ) .

Was ride on the F line , headed to Coney Island to check out the Cyclones game when suddenly , my friend Beth was drench in sun beams . I put my shade on , pulled out my iPhone and snapped a pic . I ’m trying to catch the prettier side of roller coasters without the brand of bright colors / clown show that a park Porto Rico or park visiter might take . The want of a coaster railroad train almost makes the ride seem as if its closed or bury .

-Robert Gasper
HTC Incredible
Nothing says summer like a sweaty dry pint glass , latterly emptied of its “ gins and tonic ” contents , and nothing say cellphone photo like not sustain to leave behind the porch to fetch the old DSLR and macro lens . Shot , resized and e-mail with an HTC Incredible , using PicSayPro and Gmail . The glass , of course , is a Rolling Rock gewgaw pint , and it had homemade quinine syrup , penguin seltzer and Tanqueray . Oh , and ice .
– Noah Montena
Palm Pre
I have an ill-famed Palm Pre , and since its television camera is n’t that good , I figured I might have to shoot something a mo more abstract ; without photoshop , normal photo taken with my earphone would definitely look bad . So I take in some tight - up pictures of the glass elements of an old Nikon lens , then I used the “ Photo Effects ” app to invert the color , and I add together a ( very original ) Venetian red effect . Used Photoshop to resize to 800px .

I need a new cable car and require a Mini Cooper . My wife has somewhat much vetoed my indirect request for a Mini Cooper ( she feel it ’s not a “ family ” car and would make things like grocery store browse with our two kids a bit cramped … sigh ) . Alas , I happened to be driving down the road and recognize this junker for sales event . I took the shot and send it to her with a tone saying , “ If I ca n’t get my Mini Cooper , you ’ll end up driving a car that look like this … and just conceive , this is only a small patch of what the whole thing look like . ” )

iPhone 4 – backside camera and flash
This shot was taken with my new iphone 4 using the tail camera and the led flash . I wish the abstract timbre of the shot . Basically it was a mostly empty glass of Milk River and I just ( probably unwisely ) rested the phone on top of the drinking glass and took a dyad of pictures with the flash on . After that I imported the photo I like into the camera+ app on the iphone and added a sketch and change the colouring a bit to make it look slightly more abstractionist and foreign - esque . It still dumbfound me the high quality / resolution photo this new phone engage .

Unspecified Camera
No subversion of the medium is going on here , this is just a exposure . But what I sleep with about this photo is the account of time . The rain - dimpled sand tells of a rainstorm , heavy enough to swamp the ground and coat the lower component part of the orange with sand , but continuing gently to leave its scar after the flood . The orangeness has not not been off the tree long – unlike the one that decay behind it – and yet it has experienced much on the ground . Perhaps it was this tempest that took it from the tree in the first shoes . And now , it rests on the sand , awaiting some small creature and even smaller bacterium to devour it .

No apps or post pro used
Since my phone does not have a large television camera ( read dreadful ) , i decided to make role of it ’s crappiness .

I took this exposure on a showery Thursday eventide while my car idle at the red light and geartrain path in Depot Town , a historic district of Ypsilanti , Michigan .

iPhone 3GS + Several Apps
This image was shot with my iPhone 3GS at the Red River Ex in Winnipeg , Manitoba , Canada . The Ex comes around once a year , and hoi polloi from all over the responsibility inundation into the city to take part . This was taken using a Motorola Droid with the app “ FxCamera , ” using the ToyCam force . There ’s really no limited story to it , I was just try out the app for the first time in my backyard and the results surprised me . The image just defines “ summer ” to me .
[ male erecticle dysfunction note : Very tough to find fault a winner for this challenge , and of all the extra eye I enlisted , everyone had a different dearie . So I choose this shot because it ’s the one that ’s stuck out in my mind after several daylight . It ’s an excellent composition with a subject that I ’d indicate was enhanced by filters . ]
-Spencer McCoy
Shot using the iPhone4 . I went out just walking around and started to take photos . I come back home and remark the clause for the contest . Went through all my photos and picked out the one I enjoyed the most . I was just shoot and make fun . Not really shooting for any variety of style .
-Bryan Gosline
WINNER
Taken with iPhone 3GS using HDR app . stand in the parking luck of my employment during sunset and had to catch this stab . Pic taken in Centennial , Colorado .
[ male erecticle dysfunction note : It was inconceivable to pick a winner this workweek , and after alter my mind several times — no thanks to every Giz editor ’s wide-ranging judgement — I’m perfectly happy for this hunky-dory shot to represent the natural endowment of the chemical group . It ’s a great photo that would have been hard to imagine someone guide on a cellphone a few days back , and fantabulous enjoyment of an app to boot . ]
