At Gizmodo , I get a lot of unasked app pitches . Some of them are big , others are less so .
But for every dandy app , there are thousands of stinky ones that never get write about ( or downloaded ) . Some of them of knock - offs of more successful apps that already exist . Others are only doomed to fail from the get - go .
Since I ’ve receive so many pitch during my two years time at this blog , I ’d care to call up of myself as a bite of an app expert , able-bodied to divine what will surely bomb and what will inhabit a farseeing life story at the top of the App Store chart .
